The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has warned the general public not to fall prey to some job racketeers as the commission is not recruiting right now.
The commission in a statement made available to Financialtrust.com.ng on Thursday, said it’s attention had been drawn to information making the rounds on various media platforms about advertised vacancies and recruitments in the Commission. According to the statement, “The Commission unequivocally declares that the information containing the Commission’s website and the name of the Director (Recruitment and Appointment) did not emanate from the Commission. It is fictitious and should be disregarded.” It warned members of the public to be wary of the activities of fake recruitment syndicates and racketeers; as there is no fresh appointment currently going on in the Commission. “Whenever the Commission officially commences any recruitment exercise this will be publicly announced on national dailies and Commission’s website,” it said.
