OAGF to Partner NCS for Improved Revenue Generation

The Accountant General of the Federation, Dr. Mrs. Oluwayoyin Maidein  has expressed the readiness of her office to collaborate with the Nigeria Customs Service to increase revenue for the federal government of Nigeria.

 

Dr. Madein gave the assurance when the Ag Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, paid her  a courtesy visit  in her Office on Wednesday in Abuja.

 

 Madein noted that the OAGF would cooperate and collaborate with all the revenue generating agencies to achieve the Federal Government revenue target towards Economic Development

 

A statement signed by the Director, Press and Public Relations in the OAGF,  Mr. Bawa Mokwa, quotes the Accountant-General as saying that  the Nigerian Customs Service is one of the key organisations  which the Federal Government rely on  for survival, adding that the NCS  plays a positive role in revenue generation in the Nigerian economy.

Earlier in his remark,  the Acting Comptroller General of Nigerian Customs Service, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, said that his mission was to seek for more support and  robust working relationships from the Office of the  Accountant General of the Federation.
